The DCSGC supports NASA’s goals and Mission Directorates by contributing to STEM workforce development in the District of Columbia, utilizing the unique resources of our diverse affiliate institutions through programs in internships/fellowships/scholarships, research infrastructure, higher education, precollege, and informal education. Our programs increase public knowledge, support educators, and attract and retain students to pursue STEM advanced degrees and careers. DCSGC affiliates include two HBCUs and two MSIs, which help us meet our diversity targets for women and underrepresented minorities. Our programs recruit and retain students, especially women and underrepresented minorities, in STEM disciplines; provide STEM opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students; support faculty in STEM research; provide professional development for precollege teachers in STEM subjects; and expand STEM knowledge and appreciation for the general public. Your generous donation, in any amount, will help us to support these programs and student opportunities.
